How to request a book

The text below has been left on this page in order to record the fact that a few books were made available and posted in December 2010.

I have recently discovered twenty unused softback and two hardback copies of On Air in my loft!

Some of the softbacks have minor imperfections but these are only apparent on close inspection and the books can be read, in full, without difficulty.  (e.g. text slightly off centre on a few pages.)

When previous copies of the book were on sale the profit was donated to charity and appropriate declarations were made to HM Revenue & Customs.  In order to simplify matters regarding the above books, the deal is this:-

If you would like a copy then email me with your name and postal address in the UK.  I will post the book to you at my expense, on the understanding that you will donate at least the following amount to a charity of your choice, on receipt of the book.

Softback £15

Hardback £25

I'll operate this on a first-come first-served basis.  In the case of requests that I receive before 18 December 2010, I will endeavour to post the books in time for Christmas (Royal Mail states that the last posting date is 21 December).

If the book that you requested does not arrive, for whatever reason, then I will accept no liability for this.

This offer is limited to one book per addressee.

When the stock is depleted I will remove this notice and the link on the Home page. 

You can send a book request to me by clicking here.  Please give me your full name and address in a form suitable for copying and pasting to a label.  I will acknowledge your request.

PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST PAYING ME ANY MONEY.  I do not want complications regarding tax or anything else.

If you live overseas please specify a UK address where someone can forward the book to you.  Copies of the book have previously been bought by people in many countries around the world.  However on this occasion, as I am paying for the postage, I will only post to the UK (no exceptions, so please don't ask).
