Charities

All profit from the first (July 2003) print of On Air was donated to the Liver Cancer Research Fund at University Hospital Birmingham and the Demelza House Children's Hospice.  This amounted to £2200 after these registered charities reclaimed the tax.

Now that a reprint is available (Jan 2006), any further profit will also be donated to charity.

The profit results from book sales, less direct expenses such as printing and postage.

The book was financed privately by the editors and we would like to thank the BBC, National Grid Wireless (formerly Crown Castle), VT Merlin Communications and over 50 contributors for their help in creating this book.
