VANTAGE VTR Interface Panel. This equipment carries out a
conversion between the ES-bus protocol used by the VANTAGE
Editing System EP1/557, and controlled VTRs/VCRs responding
to Sony, Ampex or ES-bus serial protocol. In addition, it
carries hardware to decode reference LTC and VITC, to
insert data into the video from the VTR, to interfaces a
spool number bar-code reader with the ES-bus, and to switch
video and audio monitoring between input and output. Power
