UHF 4 Tone Generator. This equipment is intended to assist
in the measurement of intermodulation distortion produced
in UHF TV transposers. It will provide a vision carrier on
any channel in Bands IV and V together with carriers
corresponding to the colour subcarrier, the normal sound
carrier and the additional sound carrier required for
stereo sound. The carrier frequencies are stabilised using
frequency synthesiser techniques and the amplitudes held
constant by means of an ALC loop. The output level from
the equipment is continuously variable between 0 dBm and
-60 dBm vision peak sync power. Power requirements 240 V
