Talkback Amplifier. This unit has a microphone attached to
the front panel by a flexible extension and an amplifier on
a
PCB
to
raise
the
output
to
sending
level.
The
front
panel also carries a key to switch the unit into the
'SPEAK' or 'MUTE' modes, with an associated relay and drive
circuit mounted on the PCB. Power requirements -12V, +12V
and -50V.

Intercom Microphone Amplifier. This amplifier presents a
balanced input to a 300 Q microphone and has a gain whcih
may be preset in the range 40 dB to 70 dB. It has a
balanced output intended to drive -10 dB volume into
impedances greater than 1 kQ. The amplifier bandwidth is
restricted for intercom opertion and is intended for use
with the AM5/20 intercom amplifier. Power requirements -
-50 V, -24 V or +12V, 0 V -12 V at about 20 mA. Printed
circuit board approximately 125 mm x 75 mm plus mounting
bracket.
