control and process the signals from a pickup.
crate. DD 1977.
Pickup Amplifier. Takes the signal from a pickup and
raises it to -20dB volume. Two channels per card, no
operational controls. !15V 35mA, +5V 30mA. 2U unsupported
card. Parent equipment RP2/10. DD 1977.
Wide band Timecode Head Amplifier. Amplifies and equalises
timecode signals from a tape recording head. Designed to
plug into a Studer A80 recorder in the control rack. Power
requirements +24V. Special unsupported card approximately
100mm x Il0mm to fit Studer A80. DD 1978.
Timecode Reproduce Amplifier. To reproduce timecode from
tape on a Studer B62 twin track maching using existing
audio reproduce head. The AM16/19 replaces either of
Studer audio reproduce amplifiers and enables timecode to
be read at spooling speeds for editing or synchronising
purposes. Power requirements 12V at 20mA. 207mm x 82mm
self supporting printed circuit board with edge connection.
Parent equipment Studer B62 tape recorder. DD 1978.
Timecode Reproduce Amplifier. Designed to amplify timecode
signals from the replay head over a wide tape speed range.
in JVC CR8500 Video cassette tape machine.
requirements +12V 3mA from the machine. Small printed
circuit board 64mm x 5lmm. DD 1979.
Timecode Replay Amplifier for Studer A80 multitrack tape
recorder. Similar circuit to AM16/18 but incorporating
relays enabling rapid change from Audio to Timecode
Reproduction from the same replay head. The AM16/21 is
mounted on and wired to an existing Studer audio reproduce
amplifier. Power requirements +12V at 80mA, -12V at 15mA.
Stabilising Amplifier. Sync pulse stabilising amplifier
for general use contains clippers, sync pulse and colour
burst re-insertion stages cue-dot insertion facilities etc.
Power Requirements: 240V 50Hz PN3A/53C. Supersedes
AM18/511. DD 1977. EDI 10368(P)MAY80.
Stabilising Amplifier. Modified version of AM18L/525 with
different output arrangements to meet requirement of
Television News. Power Requirements: 240 V 50 Hz.
PN3A/53C. DD 1977.
Stabilising Amplifier for Television News. Similar to
AM18L/525 but with different output arrangements. Power
requirements 240 V 50 Hz mains. PN3/54 sub-units, 2 x
AM6/502, 2 x UN16/537, 2 x UN26/537, 2 x UN26/543, 2 x
PS2/187G and EQ5/550A. Equipment superseded, AM18L/51lA.
AGC Amplifier. This unit forms part of the ME3M/502
Television waveform analyser. It provides a clamped
consistent amplitude video signal for a range of input
