676 kbit/s Linear PCM Coder. A 676 kbit/s linear 14 bit
PCM coder for use in O.B. 1.5 GHz Link Equipment. Power
requirements +15 V, +5 V. Modified 3 U unsupported pcb.

Enhanced Remote Cue Coder/Decoder. The unit provides Coder
and Decoder facilities to communicate the state of four cue
signals by means of sequential tone bursts injected into
the P.T.B. circuit between main and remote C.M.C.R.s on an
outside broadcast site. The code used is compatible with
the "Selcue" system currently in use but this unit
incorporates enhancements to prevent the decoding errors
which could occur with the equipment it replaces. Power
requirements ::t15 V. 222 mm x 100 mm. Supersedes CD2/14,
CD3/28, CD2/26. SCPD 1985.
728 kbit/s Coder. The coder converts two 14-bit parallel
PCM sound channels into the 728 kbit/s serial format as
specified in "Draft Specification of Standards for UK
Stereo with Television Transmissions." (Rev.3). 4U-PN1/29J
Unsupported Card. RD 1986.
Co-ord. Encoder. Operating on the Digital Audio Multiphase
Bus D.D.T.M. 3.291(84) this unit dis-assembles the 12-bit
words of two 8 kHz band-limited sampled audio 'Co-
ordination' channels into sets of four bits, which are
inserted as the 'auxiliary' bits of an AES/EBU serial
digital audio signal. Power Requirements 5 Vdc. 4U BMM
unsupported card with 'J' width front panel. Chassis
Extender CH4/5. DD(3) 1986.
Analogue Input Co-ord Combiner. The inputs to this unit
are one analogue or EBU - Serial Digital stereo programme
signal, and two analogue 'Co-ordination' signals. The unit
combines these into an EBU - Serial - Digital output which
carries the Co-ord channel information in its auxiliary
data bits. Power Requirements 240 V a.c. BBC Chassis Code
PN3/54. Sub-units: PS4/18A, PS3/67, C010S/12, C011S/6,
FL4/80, FL4/82, 2 x C08/13, C04/9, CD2/36. DD(3) 1986.
Co-ord. lnserter. The inputs to this unit are one EBU
serial digital stereo programme signal, and two analogue
'co-ordination' signals. The unit combines these into an
EBU serial digital output which carries the Co-ord channel
information in its auxiliary data bits. 240 V a.c. BBC
Chassis Code MP2/34. Sub-units: PS4/l8A, PS3/67, C08/13 ,
C010S/12, C011S/6, CD2/36, FL4/82. DD(3) 1986.
D.S.S.T.TV 728kbit/sec Coder. This Coder takes two
analogue sound signals and converts them to coded, serial,
digital data at a bit-rate of 728 kbit/sec. The coder
outputs data and data-clock signals. The coder conforms to
the stereo coding option of Revision 4 UK Specification for
DSSTTV. The coder performs the following function: Ca)
analogue pre-emphasis to CCITT Rec J17; Cb) l4-bit
analogue-to-digital conversion at 32kHz sampling-rate; (c)
