Digital Transcoder. This unit replaces the C08/9 (or
C08/10) in a NICAM 3 Coder CD2M/17, so that digital audio
samples may be transferred directly to the coder, from a
C01M/15 EBU to NICAM 3 Converter. It also converts 2's
complement code to "sign and magnitude" code. Power

NICAM 3 Signalling Combiner. Accepts two independent
RS232C serial inputs and 16-bit parallel input, and
converts them to an 8-bit parallel packet multiplex for

NICAM 3 Signalling Splitter. Accepts 8-bit parallel packet

Digital Input Co-ord Combiner. The inputs to this unit are
one EBU serial digital stereo programme signal, and one EBU
Serial - Digital signal that carries Co-ord channel

the programme and Co-ord information into one EBU - Serial
