Burst Locking Converter.
The function of this converter is
Derive a Frequency Control signal to phase lock local
subcarrier to incoming burst.
2. Generate a local PAL switch (VAS) waveform, locked to
that of the incoming coded signal.
3. Detect a monochrome input signal (i.e. Colour Kill).
Power requirements +5.35 V, 1.2 A; -5.2 V, SO mA. PCB: 4 U

V.I.T.C. Converter. Unit converts longitudinal timecode to
vertical interval timecode and in-vision characters.
Addi tional input for User Bit data to be inserted in the
timecode. Characters can be moved up and down the screen
and can be of two sizes and can be switched off. The VITC
can be on or off and the allocated line can be selected.

Converts d.c. voltages from a control panel to logic
levels which may then be presented to a scanning sys tern.
The input voltages may have a range of values which are
accommodated by F.O.T. resistors within the unit. The
polarity of the input voltages are allowed for by means of
Store Buffer Unit for main Monitoring and Information
Centre store. Unit buffers TTL interface levels to store
MOS levels and also provides facilities to aid store

Store Buffer Unit to buffer a number of UN1/176 store units
into the bus structure of the 8080 Microproces sor unit.
Unit converts current drive capacity. Power requirements

Studer B62 Interface Unit. The unit is used in the
RD4L/s06 Timecode Tape Synchroniser and provides the a
ppropriate drive voltages for a Studer B62 Tape Machine.

appropriate drive voltages for the Studer A80 machine.

Studer A80RC Interface Unit. Modified version of COS/9 to
