Desk, built commercially to BBC Specification. Format: 16
channels, 2 stereo groups and independent, 2 stereo echo
returns, 10 outside sources, comprehensive monitoring and
takback facilities. Based on Mark 1A/4 but without Bush
House extras. Intended as a replacement for Marks 1, lA, 2
and 2D in Broadcasting House. Code suffix; "A" - Audix
desks, "B" - Neve, "c" - Calrec. Power requirements 240 V

Conductor's Desk. Conductor's talkback and monitoring
unit. Used in installations using AM10)/21 Headphone
Monitoring Amplifiers. Provides two-way communication
between a conductor or musical director and the producer or
operator in the sound control cubicle and allows the
conductro/MD to listen to the studio output or the cues
sent to the AM10P/21s. An additional stereo input is
overpluggable on a pair of PO jacks on the rear of the
case. Units suffixed A have a modified pendant telephone
fitted to allow private conversation. Mounted in a sloping
front steel case with removeable front and bottom panels.
Connections by a Varicon 38 way fixed plug. Power

Subtitle Preparation Desk. The Desk is to be used for the
preparation of subtitles for TV programmes on videotape.
It consists of a pair of equipment consoles approximately
730mm high linked by a horizontal panel. The subtitling
equipment is housed in the two consoles and the associated
