Time Signal Delay Unit. To delay the Greenwich Time Signal
keying waveform by up to 200ms in steps of 5ms. Power
requirements +12.5V SOmA. CHl/65A. DD 1980.
Audio Delay Unit. The function of this equipment is to
delay a monophonic audio signal in steps of 0.1
milliseconds over the range 0.1 to 1.4. The bandwidth for
correct delay operation is 4kHz. The design is inten ded
to obviate the use of the more expensive Audio Delay Unit
UN14/12 in some applications. Power requirements +25V.
CHl/65A. Parent equipment EPIM/25. DD 1980. DDMI
6.384(80). DDHB 6.184(81).
Link Unit. (Zero Delay). A skeleton 2U A size plug-in
chassis intended for use in the main frame EPIM/25. The
EPIM/25 Polarity Comparator takes in two audio signals for
comparison. In cases where an input is required to be fed
directly to the comparator (MNl/22) without delay, this
unit provides a through link on the 17-way back connector.
No power required. CHl/65A (Modified). Parent equipment
EPIM/25. DD 1980. DDMI 6.385(81).
Timecode Delay Unit. Card for use in studer A80 audio tape
M/C. Delays time code to allow for physical offsets of
heads. Power requirements +12v at 150mA; -12v at 20mA from
A80's supplies. Card for A80's chassis. Parent equipment
Studer A80 tape M/C. DD 1981.
Variable Delay Unit. This unit can store up to 448 x 12-
bit NICAM 3 sample words. By either inhibiting the input
write clock (nominal 64kHz) or the output read clock
(nominal 64kHz) the number of samples stored will be
variable. This unit will also re insert NICAM 3 single
channel frame codes. Power requirements +5V at 500mA; +18V
at 70mA; -18V at 70mA. CHl/64J. Parent equipment CD2M/23
and Options 1 to 4. NICAM 3 Insertion equipment. DD 1981.
DDMI 6.400(82). DDHB 6.221(83).
Timecode Delay Unit. The unit corrects timecode offsets
introduced by audio/timecode head spacing of RD4/18 (B62),
RD4/20 (B67) and a third unspecified 6.3mm audio tape
machine modified for centretrack timecode working. Power
requirements +12V and -12V from tape machine at approx 50mA
each. Non standard Box, Approx. 200 x 150 x 50. Parent
equipment; add on unit to RD4/18 and RD4/20. DD 1982.
EDI 10504(I)MAY 85.

'A' Version for B62 machine.
'B' Version for B67 machine.
'c' Version for unspecified 6.3mm audio tape machine.
