VTR Control Unit.
This unit controls a VTR and associated
VCR via their parallel remote control inputs in response to
signals received via an EBU serial control bus. It
converts parallel machine status information to serial
format. The unit forms part of the Record Bank Project.
Studio Reproducer Control Unit.
Studio reproducer control
unit for use in EP10/17 Radio Continuity Suites. Provides
remote start facilities and indication for up to four
reproducers, which plug into individual 56 way Varicon
sockets on the case of the unit. These sockets also carry
audio outputs from the reproducer to a 38 way Varicon plug.
A bank of switches allows each channel to be individually
configured to suit the machine in use on that channel.
Indicator inputs from the reproducer are opto-iso1ated.
Remote start is catered for by an isolated changeover relay
contact. Each reproducer socket carries -12 V and -SO V
through 680 Q for machines that may require these for
remote control. Power requirements -12 V, 400 mA; so V,

PAL-PAL Transcoder Control Unit.
Controls the function and
status of a PAL-PAL Transcoder. Using CMOS Logic via
'Control' socket on C06/5l2 back panel. Selects
Synchroniser, TBC, Auto Mode, ITS off, Data Reverse, and
Test and their indication by placing suitable Logic level
on 'Control' socket pins to Circuit Diagram SP32015.1Al.

Switching Matrix Control Unit.
General Purpose l6-Channel Switching Matrix Controller.
Expandable up to 128 channels, in steps of 8. Options
include 'pre-se1ect' and 'Take' (with timeout option) or
'Direct Take' channel selection, and pulsed or latched
