Line Delay Unit. The card contains two, one line delays
for digitised waveforms sampled at twice subcarrier rate.
It configures itself to operate in either pre or post
filter modes, and forms part of the filter section in the
68 Mbit/s digital transmissions system. Power requirements

Programmable Frame Delay. This unit will delay a 4 bit
word from 20 to 589,852 clock periods (0.02 to 682 TV ISSUE
lines at a clock frequency of 13.5 MHz). The delay may be
programmed into on-board PROM'S which give 32 pre-
programmed delays selected by a 5-bit input. Alternatively
a 20-bit input word may be used to select the delay. A by-
pass circuit is provided which introduces one clock delay
together with an output-disable control (TRI-STATE). Power

Video Black and Burst Delay Unit. This unit provides 4
delayed outputs from a single input. The delay of each
output is continuously adjustable in the range 20-520 ns.
