Telecine Scan Interface Unit. This unit forms part of the
CINETRACE MARK II INTERFACE PANEL, PA1M/584. It forms an
interface between the computer and the telecine on playback
for Cinemascope broadcasts, converting parallel data to
analogue and switching signals to control the telecine.

Port Control Unit. The port controller deals with V24
serial communication in the Datacast Transmission
Equipment. It is capable of supporting both asynchronous
and synchronous (HDLC) protocols. An on-board processor is
used to buffer the data and implement the protocol
required. This circuit board supersedes the I/O Interface
Unit
