Keyboard Interface. The unit comprises an 825S parallel
I/O device and bi-directional TTL buffering for six 8-bit
data busses to or from a UN23/130 parallel I/O unit. This
unit is designed for use in the MIC VDU (UN12M/513). Power

Microcomputer Unit. The Unit is a self-contained
microcomputer based on the Motorola MC 6803. The card
provides 20 input lines, 22 output lines, serial RS 422
input and output (1200 BAUD), timer function, 3 interrupt
inputs, one analogue output and one generated waveform
output from the Processor. It was designed for use in a
range of Time Code Units including Editrace, RD4L/S10.

BBC Z80 Bus Extender Sub-unit. This unit forms half of the
bus extension system. It connects directly onto the
microprocessor bus and buffers all signals between the
mother board and 2 40-way IDC connectors accessible from
the front. It can be designated as the 'master' or 'slave'
unit by 'handbag' selection depending whether it shares the
bus with a CPU or not. Handbags also select whether the SV
and !12V are connected to the IDC connectors. Power

Sample Silence Processing Unit. This uni t detects and
processes samples for a complete NICAM 3 dual channel frame
signal known as
'pause control signal' when all the samples have been
~-48dB relative to peak programme, for 3ms. Power
