6 Channel NICAM 11 Processing Unit (1). This board holds
some of the digital processing logic needed for the NICAM
Mark 11 6 channel decoder, CD3M/58. It uses the incoming
HDB3 2048kbit/sec signal to generate system clocks and
provides, via an on-board Z80A CPU, switch inputs and
display outputs associated with the error rate of the
incoming signal. It also provides the NICAM signalling-
bits in parallel form. Power requirements f18V, +5V. 6U
triple depth Eurocard (280mm). Parent equipment CD3M/58.
Chassis extender CH4/13. D&ED (A) 1987.
6 Channel NICAM 11 Processing Unit (2). This board holds
the majority of the digital processing logic needed for the
NICAM Mark II 6 channel decoder, CD3M/ 58. It produces 6
duplicated digital audio streams (in the Philips inter-chip
CD format) for the NICAM 11 DAC, C09/13, and provides open
collector

Video Processing Unit, used in MN6/510. Contains video
processing scanning and power supply circuits. Special
chassis. DD 1975. DDMI 9.196.
6 Colour Overlay Effects Processing Unit. This is based on
the UN26/519 but offers additional facilities in terms of
key axis selection. Keying and key colour suppression is
available by remote selection on any of the three primary
colours or their complements. The unit is mechanically and
electrically compatible with the UN26/519 as it is
anticipated that these relatively expensive units will
replace them for the duration of complex CSO productions
only. CH1/64A same coding slots as UN26/519. DD 1976.
