HDB3 Input Processor. The unit receives a standard HDB3 _
coded tenary signal from which it generates a clock and two
binary data signals. These signals, all at TTL levels, are
fed to an associated tributary unit. A pluggable link
determines which of the following data rates is used: 676
kbit/s, 2048 kbit/s, 8448 kbit/s. The unit forms part of
68 Mbit/s multiplexing equipment CD4M/504. Power
requirements +12V, +5V, -5V at currents to be advised.

Key Modifier Uni t. Two-channel key modifier for driving
the linear video switch SE3/511. Each channel has
independent clip and hardness control, and separate mask
inputs. The two channels may also be combined in NAMs.
This unit is a direct replacement for UN26/586 with
improved performance. Power requirements +12 V; +5 V

BAT Display Controller Unit. Provides addressing and

Comb Filter Processing Unit. This unit separates the
chrominance and luminance information from PAL or NTSC
signals. It does this by processing delayed and undelayed
versions of the composite signals to form a comb filter.
This unit is capable of combing across delays of 312 lines
for PAL, or 263 and 525 lines for NTSC. Power
requirements +5 V and -5 V. 4U unsupported card. Parent

Chroma Digital Blanker Unit. U and V, 12 bit digital video
input rounded to 8 bits and MECL converted. U and V, 12
bit input also rounded to 10 bits and routed to next card
