32 kByte RAM Store. This unit provides 32,768 8-bit bytes
of static random-access memory on a single card. It is
designed to be compatible with the Designs Department Z80
bus system (ZEUS) and will replace four UN27/7 8 kbyte
Units. The unit is internally organised as 9-bit wide
data, and automatic parity generation and checking is
carried out; a detected parity error results in a front-
panel LED lighting and, optionally, an interrupt to the
host processor. Power requirements +5v DC at 3 amps max.

8K RAM Store. An 8K byte RAM store utilising CMOS storage
components
to minimise power requirements.
Separate data
I/P and data O/P terminals are provided which are commoned
when connected to the standard DD bus. A separate power
supply pin is provided for the memory elements and power
supply failure monitoring ensures isolation of these if
either the control power to a third connection fails.

Scratch Pad RAM Store. This RAM is used to store the
display data for each line of the display. It contains 2
RAM areas which are written to alternately, and read by the
timing card which counts down the run lengths. The colour
data is applied to the Colour Register Store, UN27 /18.
Power requirements 5 V. Parent equipment EP5M/517. DD

Colour Register Store. Used by EAGLE to store the 32 de-
fined colours for a particular symbol in RGB digital form.
These are loaded, and may be updated directly by the CPU.
They are selected according to a colour number and passed
to the DAC. Power requirements 5V. CHl/79. Parent equip-
ment EP5M/517. DD 1982.
