Nominal gain: unity, continuously variable t3dB. DD 1964.
DD Spec 6.87. DDHB 6.39. OBSOLESCENT.
Pulse Stabilising Amplifier. Part of MX1/S02. Consists
of two identical sync pulse stabilising amplifier chains
with inputs in parallel. Outputs from AM1/S16 are
combined and each chain accepts this signal or output from
UN4/S02A to give output signal with correct sync pulse.
Comprises 2 PN3/23 each with UN9/S12, AM3/S01, UN3/S03,
AM18/507, UN9/Sl1, UN1/S10, GE2/S04, GE2/S03. DD 1963.
DD Spec 4.36. DDHB 4.9. OBSOLESCENT.
Colour version of AM1B/Sl1 for use in MXl/502A. Two
PN3/23 each with AMl/558, UN9/Sl2A, AMl8/S20, AM3/50l,
GE2/S03B, GE2/S04, UN1/510A, UN9/S11A, UN3/S03, NEl/514,
DD 196B. DD Spec 4.36. OBSOLESCENT.
Modified AM18/SllA used on BAl1/S01B. Accepts a combined
fade/wipe input and incorporates a lapped stabilising
amplifier changeover. DD 1970. WITHDRAWN.
Sync Pulse Stabilising Amplifier. Part of Studio Mixer
EPS/S02. Accepts output from group mixer and produces
output signal having correct sync pulses at all times.
Comprises PN3/23 with GE2/S03A, GE2/S04, GE2/S19,
AM18/514, AM3/S03, PS2/10A and EQS/S10. DD 1963. ACO.
Used in EPS/S03.

for lB3m cable
DD Spec 8.151.
Synchronising Pulse Stabilising Amplifier, used in Studio
produces output signal having correct synchronising pulses
at all times. Equalisation set to compensate for IBSm
cable. For use in colour system. PN3/23 with GE2/S03B,
GE2/S04, GE2/519, AM18/514, AM3/S03, PS2/S7A, AM1/SSB,
AM1/S70. DD 1967. OBSOLESCENT.
with AM18/5l3B with additional facilities for
insertion provided by UN9/563, AM1B/514A,
DD 1968. OBSOLESCENT.
Sync Pulse Stabilising Amplifier similar to AM1B/513B but
UN9/S63 and replacement of GE2/5l9 by GE2/577. DD 1969.
DD Spec 8.151. EDI 10035 (1)MAR72. OBSOLESCENT.
Processing Amplifier. Part of AM18/S13. Output black
level is maintained at earth potential by AM3/S03. Limits
peak white-level, and negative excursions of video output
are limited by a black level clipper. Also limits
subcarrier on high luminance colour signal. Any sync
signals present are removed by two gates driven by
GE2/503, and new sync pulses are added from GE2/504.
CHl/12A. DD 1963. DD Spec 8.155. ACO. OBSOLESCENT.
