oscilloscope as detector. Mains operated. CH1/12C housed
in CHl/33 for portable use in a carrying case CH2/1lA.
DD 1963. DD Spec 9.65. DDTM 9.77. OBSOLESCENT.
Blanking and Sync Mixer. Input: O.7V non-composite video
waveform and 2V mixed sync and mixed blanking pulses.
Output: 1V composite waveform. Constructed on 4 CHl/12A
and includes PS2/22D. First used C06/501. Unit 2A has
relays omitted. DD 1963. DD Spec 7.14. DDHB 7.76. ACO.
OBSOLESCENT.
Slave10ck Receiving Unit. Part of 405 line remote slaving
arrangement. Accepts twice line frequency signal sent by
wire from UN1/522P and amplifies and filters it to produce
suitable signal for driving the remote waveform generator.
Includes AM1/508 and PSl/1 in CH1/13B. DD 1963.
DD Spec 8.160. OBSOLESCENT.
Sync Separator. Two included in UNl/528.
incoming video waveform into line frequency and
frequency pulses for use elsewhere in UN1/528.
DD 1963. DD Spec 8.134. ACO. OBSOLESCENT.

CH1/12A.
Picture Synchroniser for bringing two independent pulse
generators into sync at a given point (so-called genlock
or slavelock), smoothly and without changing number of
lines in transmitted picture. 405 and 625 lines.
Comprises PN3/23 with UN9/5l5, UN1/542, UNl/53l, 2
UN1/527, UNl/5l7, UNl/5l8, PSl/1. Inputs (a) local sync
pulses 0.2 to 3V p-p, (b) remote composite video 0.2 to IV
p-p of syncs. Outputs: (a) IV p-p from 75Q into 75Q at
twice line frequency to local pulse generator, (b) as (a)
but balanced and unearthed for feeding via line and remote
AMl/5l7 to remote pulse generator. Multi-standard version
of
UNI/522.

Line Discriminator and Oscillator. Part 0 UNl/528.
Converts phase difference between suitable line frequency
pulse trains into d.c. error signal which with other error
signals varies the frequency of its twice line frequency
output. A further input prevents operation and allows
other discriminators in the UN1/528 to control the output
frequency.
CH1/12A.
Input:
pulses from two UNI/527 and
error signals. Output: IV of twice line frequency at 75Q
to UN9/515. Plug in board for 405 and 625 lines.
DD 1963. DD Spec 8.136. ACO. OBSOLESCENT.
Delay and Filter Unit. Enables a standard Marconi Mark
III camera channel to be operated from a waveform
generator producing line drive pulses 8~s ahead of mixed
sync pulses to that up to 2000ft. of camera cable may be
used.
Mains operated.
